Yumuri (Cuba)

A charismatic sonero, remarked by his vocal register and improvisations; with an special Cuban seal, MOISES VALLE (YUMURI), has the quality of assuming in scene all the required force of contemporary Cuban pop music.
Known as YUMURI, artistic name given by master ELIO REVE, Moisés comes from a Havana family of a great musical tradition. His experience as a singer began in 1984 when he joined the prestigeous and popular Elio Reve’s Orchestra for four years. As a vocalist of that orchestra he had the oportunity of sharing scenarios with Cheo Feliciano, Ismael Miranda, José Alberto “El Canario” Ray Sepúlveda, Tito Nieves and Rubén Blades.

In Cuba, for several months, he was the invited artistic of Cabaret TROPICANA show, also, as an guest, he worked with orchestras Aragón and Irakere.

After the mentioned experiences Moisés decided to from his own orchestra taking with him three of his four musicians brothers. Since then, YUMURI Y SUS HERMANOS (Yumuri and his brothres) hast occupied first places of national T.V. program “Mi Salsa” award as novel orchestra of that year, 1993.

YUMURI was selected in 1997 to be a member of the show “Cuba Tropical” performed at 20 cities in Japan been outstanding ones at Tokio, Osaka, Nagazaki and Sapporo with a great popularity and a wide internacional experience at Venezuela,Panamá, United States, México, Suitzerland, France, Japan, Yumuri y sus Hermanos are giving form to their professional carreer making history in the cuban music of our times.
On 1999 YUMURI AND HIS BROTHERS make the record “Olvidame si puedes”. This record is the No 1 in Cuban hit parade. In 1999 to YUMURI AND HIS BROTHERS play in Portugal. On 2000 Yumuri play IN Cancún Music Festival and Popular Music Festival of Colombia.
In the last record OLVIDAME SI PUEDES , Yumuri have one song that OSCARD’LEON vocalist introduccing in his repertory with the more better preference for the latin people , with the name LA BOMBA , this songs haved the best preference in Venezuela and United States during the year 2000.
